i.How do I add a recipe?

Tap the + button in the top right of the recipe library. Paste a URL from any website or YouTube video and Dinnr will extract the recipe automatically. You can also upload photos or a PDF of a printed recipe, or create a recipe from scratch using the manual editor.

ii.Which websites are supported?

Most recipe websites work out of the box. YouTube videos with recipe descriptions or spoken instructions are also supported. A small number of sites block automated access and cannot be extracted — their loss.

iii.How do I add a recipe to the meal planner?

Open a recipe, tap the three-dot menu in the top right, and choose Add to Planner. Select the day and meal type, then save.

iv.How do I generate a grocery list from a recipe?

Open a recipe and tap Add to Groceries from the menu. Ingredients will be added to your grocery list and grouped by supermarket section automatically.

v.Is my data backed up?

Yes — your recipes, meal plans, and grocery lists are synced to the cloud and available on any device you sign in to. You can also export a full backup as JSON from Settings → Backup Recipes, and restore from a previous backup from the same screen.

vi.How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Delete Account. This permanently deletes all your data from our servers and cannot be undone.

vii.Can I use Dinnr in another language?

Yes — go to Settings and choose your language. Dinnr will automatically translate your saved recipes using AI. Switching back to English translates them back. Supported languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, and Norwegian.

viii.Which sign-in methods are supported?

You can sign in with Apple, Google, or email and password. If you signed in with Apple or Google, password changes in Settings do not apply — your password is managed by Apple or Google directly.

ix.Is Dinnr free?

Yes, Dinnr is currently free to use.
